Pros and Cons

Quality and Performance

Pros:

  • Superior Visibility
Customers rave about the streak-free, clear wipe these blades provide, even during heavy rainstorms. One user mentioned that the AERO Voyager blades outperformed other premium brands like Bosch Icon and Rain-X Latitude in terms of initial performance.
  • Durable Construction
Many users reported that these blades last significantly longer than conventional ones, with some getting over a year of use in harsh weather conditions. The Teflon-coated rubber and memory-tensioned steel spring contribute to their longevity.
  • Quiet Operation
The blades glide smoothly and quietly across the windshield, a feature that many customers appreciated. One user noted that applying Rain-X to the windshield further reduced noise, making the driving experience even more pleasant.

Cons:

  • Initial Skidding
A few users mentioned that the blades can skid slightly on dry glass when brand new, but this issue typically resolves after a couple of uses in the rain.

Usability and Installation

Pros:

  • Easy Installation
Most customers found the installation process straightforward and hassle-free. The blades come with clear instructions, and the J-Hook design ensures a secure fit.
  • Eco-Friendly Refills
The inclusion of extra rubber refills is a major plus, allowing users to extend the life of their wipers without having to replace the entire blade.

Cons:

  • Installation Challenges
Some users reported that the installation could be a bit tricky, especially for those who are not patient or experienced with car maintenance. One customer mentioned that the plastic clip did not feel as sturdy as they would have liked, though they had no issues with the blades falling off or breaking.

Durability and Longevity

Pros:

  • Long-Lasting
Many users praised the durability of the AERO Voyager blades, with some reporting that they lasted well over a year in various weather conditions. One customer even compared them favorably to Bosch Icons, noting that the AERO blades performed better out of the box.
  • Eco-Conscious Design
The ability to replace just the rubber refills instead of the entire blade is a significant advantage, both economically and environmentally.

Cons:

  • Variable Longevity
While most users reported excellent durability, a few noted that the performance started to decline after about 9 months, particularly at the edges of the blades. However, this is still considered a good lifespan for wiper blades.

Value for Money

Pros:

  • Affordable
The AERO Voyager blades are competitively priced, offering excellent value for money. Many customers felt that they provided a high-quality, long-lasting solution without breaking the bank.
  • Included Refills
The extra rubber refills add to the overall value, making these blades a cost-effective choice for budget-conscious drivers.

Cons:

  • Missing Refills
A few customers reported that their package did not include the promised extra rubber refills, which was a disappointment. However, this seems to be an isolated issue rather than a widespread problem.

Conclusion

The AERO Voyager 26" + 16" Premium All-Season Windshield Wiper Blades are a solid choice for anyone looking for reliable, high-performance wipers. They offer superior visibility, durability, and quiet operation, making them a favorite among many drivers. While there are some minor drawbacks, such as initial skidding and occasional installation challenges, the overall performance and value for money make these wipers a worthwhile investment.

Final Verdict:

If you’re in the market for wiper blades that deliver consistent performance in all weather conditions, the AERO Voyager blades are an excellent option. They combine quality, durability, and affordability into one impressive package, making them a top pick for drivers seeking a cleaner, safer drive in any season.

On my 2010 Hyundai Sonata, 2010 Toyota Rav4, and work vehicles, these blades are still the best blades I've tried in this price point, having compared them to Bosch Icon, Rain-X Latitude, Michelin Stealth, Valeo Frameless, and Motorcraft All-Season

Fall 2016 update: I've been using AERO blades for a while now, and did another comparison. On my 2010 Hyundai Sonata, 2010 Toyota Rav4, and work vehicles, these blades are still the best blades I've tried in this price point, having compared them to Bosch Icon, Rain-X Latitude, Michelin Stealth, Valeo Frameless, and Motorcraft All-Season. These Aero All-Season blades leave the best streak-free wipe, out of any blade I've used, with no dead spots or streaks for an entire season. For an abuse test, I swapped them out on one of my older vehicles, and they are effective well past 9 months through a reasonably harsh winter. I got almost 1 year 3 months out of one set, before they eventually stopped performing well at the edges. You should replace them every 6 months, but - depending on your climate - you could probably get a full year of use from a single set. Only the Bosch Icons have lasted longer for me (1 year 6 months on a work van), but they didn't perform as good as the Aero All-Seasons did out of the box. After 3 months, to about 5 months, the Aeros and Bosch perform just as well. The Bosh Icons pull ahead just a little at around 6 ~ 7 months, but I usually replace them by then. They are very quiet, even across dry glass, second only to the Bosch Icons. When they are brand new, I get a little skidding when trying to wipe debris off of dry glass, but it stops after one or two regular uses in rain. Once in a while, I'll get one of the 24" blades that is a little stubborn to install, but will eventually go on with a little extra force. Once installed, the blades are fairly easy to remove, but I've never had one fall off. Some of the other blades are VERY difficult to install and VERY difficult to remove (looking at you Rain-X). I like that they're secure, but I want to be able to change them without having to use a tool or excessive force in case I have to make a change away from the garage. The AERO All-Season blades, in all of my comparison tests and extensive use, are my personal favorite for every car in my garage or work fleet. They perform the best from day one, perform well even past 9 months, are one of the quietest, are easy to replace, and are very well priced in a set. Original Review: Well, I've used this through several rough summer and winter seasons; the Aero blades definitely perform as nicely as the Bosch Icon blades, which I liked very much and used for years. The blades perform well just as long as the Icons did, and are actually a little easier to install (the locking cover is a little less stubborn to open when uninstalling). The Icon's are a tad quieter across the windshield in side-by-side tests, but my novice ears honestly couldn't tell any difference if they weren't side-by-side. Applying a little Rain-X to the windshield pretty much neutralized all noise for up to 3 weeks of steady use, during the rainy season. For the price, I'm sticking with the Aero's in my 2010 Rav4 Limited, and 2010 Sonata.

These have performed very consistently - good quality, easy to put on, quiet with very minimal noise, no streaking

I’ve had AERO wipers on both my old Nissan and new Toyota and started using these about 6-7 years ago. These have performed very consistently - good quality, easy to put on, quiet with very minimal noise, no streaking. Each set has lasted between 1-2 years, which I’d say is pretty standard. They come with replacement strips, and the strips are easy to replace, so it’s a lot more eco-friendly compared to other blade options where you have to toss the whole blade. Can’t beat this at this price point - I tried another brand at a similar price point and they were immediately streaky and squeaky right out of the box. I’ve repurchased this item several times - the most recent time the box arrived all damaged and bent, but the product itself was fine. Would recommend!

I have been using them for about 2 weeks

Background: I live in Central Florida and I bought these for my 2017 Kia Sorento. I have been using them for about 2 weeks. I used these to replace the factory blades that came with my vehicle. Installation: Could be a little frustrating for someone who isn't patient, it took me a couple tries since the instructions were pretty generic. It was a bit of a squeeze to get these on my vehicle but once they are on they feel okay. My biggest gripe is that they could make them feel more sturdy or secure, the plastic clip does not exude confidence but so far I have had no problem with the blades falling off or breaking. This may vary between vehicles since I have a similar pair on my Honda and they feel much more secure. Performance: They do a very good job of cleaning without streaks and they are definitely quieter than the cheap ones that came with my vehicle. As for longevity I have purchased this same brand for my other car and they still work very smoothly for about a year now. Summary: I can attest they do very well in Florida weather. Installation can be cumbersome but that may vary a little bit depending on your vehicle. They have a nice modern beam design that hugs the glass. I'm sure there are better wipers out there but these seem to do a very good job so I don't believe you will see much of an improvement unless you go for significantly more expensive blades. Overall these blades are just a great value and I can recommend these as I will be buying more in the future.

Water is still there .. It doesn't work as required or old useless wipers are sent
