BJSIA QUALITY Premium All-Season 22" + 22" Windshield Wipers: A Comprehensive Review
When it comes to maintaining visibility during harsh weather conditions, having reliable windshield wipers is non-negotiable. The BJSIA QUALITY Premium All-Season 22" + 22" Windshield Wipers promise to deliver clean, quiet, and durable performance at an affordable price. Designed with high elastic memory steel and special fluorosilicone rubber strips, these wipers claim to withstand extreme temperatures and provide a streak-free wipe. But do they live up to the hype? Let’s dive into the details based on real customer experiences.
Pros and Cons: What Customers Are Saying
Quality and Performance
One of the standout features of the BJSIA wipers is their high-quality materials. The combination of fluorosilicone rubber strips and elastic memory steel ensures a uniform fit on the windshield, which translates to a cleaner wipe. Customers have praised their ability to perform well in extreme weather conditions, from heavy rainstorms to snow. One reviewer shared their experience driving through a 6-hour tornado rain warning, noting that the wipers held up perfectly without any issues.
However, some users have pointed out that the all-molded design (as opposed to traditional metal frames) might not be as durable in the long run. While the wipers are flexible and fit the windshield contour well, their longevity in hot, dry climates like Texas remains a question for some.
Ease of Installation
The universal adaptor system is a major selling point for these wipers. According to the manufacturer, they fit 96% of all vehicles, and customers have confirmed this claim. Many reviewers found the installation process to be quick and straightforward, with one user stating it took just 2 minutes per wiper on their 2000 Chevy pickup.
That said, a few customers encountered challenges with the J-hook adapter. One reviewer mentioned that removing the pre-installed adapter was difficult and resulted in damaging one of the adapters. Additionally, the lack of clear instructions for adapter installation was a common complaint. While the wipers come with multiple adapters, the setup process could be smoother with better guidance.
Noise and Smoothness
One of the most appreciated aspects of the BJSIA wipers is their quiet operation. Customers have consistently noted that these wipers glide smoothly across the windshield without squeaking or making noise. This is a significant improvement over cheaper alternatives that often produce annoying sounds during use.
Durability and Longevity
The wipers are advertised to withstand 1 million wipes, and while it’s too early for most users to test this claim, initial feedback is positive. One reviewer mentioned that after several months of use, the wipers still perform flawlessly. However, as mentioned earlier, the all-molded design raises some concerns about long-term durability, especially in regions with intense sun exposure.
Value for Money
At $15.99 for a set of two, the BJSIA wipers are a budget-friendly option compared to pricier alternatives. Many customers appreciate the affordability without compromising on performance. One reviewer even purchased a second set for their transit van, citing the excellent value as a deciding factor.

Comments from Amazon:
I like these windshield wipers. They are very inexpensive compaired to the parts houses in town with prices of $39.00 per wiper. And they are only warnted for just two years. Anbeasy decision for me to buy these. They were simple to install on my old 2000 chevy pickup. That has the hook wiper arms. I didnt have to use any of the adapters. I simply removed the old ones and replaced the new ones . Simple and easy. 2 minutes per arm tops to install each one. Just remember to remove the yellow blade covers after you install them. My neighbor had some similar that he bought locally. And didnt remove the yellow wiper blade covers. And was in a severe rain storm and when he switched on his wipers and he couldn't see and had to pull over just was mad as an old wet rooster. He called me over when he got home to see if I could figure out why his wipers didnt work correctly. Thinking he installed them wrong. I immediately started to laugh and showed him that the yellow blade covers were still in place after he installed them. He said he had never seen that before on a new set of wipers. I said my set had them too and that also was a first for me to see that too. He felt totaly dumb founded and said he thought the blade had an ugly color to them. He said at least they work now and they aren't ugly any more after testing them with his windshield washer on. I said if you had tested them. That just might have avoided his predicament he was in during that awful rainstorm. He laughed and said . Very true. I always test my wipers after changing them. Not a time to do it when you desperately need them. LOL🤣
These have been an excellent purchase! They came with all the parts to fit many different applications once you figure out which parts you need the worst was taking the old ones off they were easy to put togeather and work great they do it squeak or have any noice and work great
The wipers came with the J-hook mount preinstalled. No instructions how to get it off, and really poor instructions for installing the new ones. I destroyed one of the J adapters getting it off (without damaging the wiper) and figured out how to put the right one on. The second wiper went a lot easier. I installed them on my truck without any difficulty, and they work well. I have no idea about longevity yet. The wipers did come with a *bunch* of adapters; they should fit just about anything. (unlike some Goodyear wipers I bought that were supposed to have adapters but didn't have any) And the price was good. I'm glad I bought them. But they lose a star for lack of instructions and the difficulty in installing the adapters.
Great for the price
Well, it turns out the wipers are half as much as I paid for my last set of wipers. I’m pretty sure the reason was the last pair of wipers was a metal frame with the wiper blade. This set of wipers is all molded design, and there is no metal. The product looks very good. The frame itself is very stiff while being flexible and I think it will hold up well. Definitely fits the contour of the window very well, got to try it out at the end of the car wash. OK well we got some rain and it works really nicely so well and back that I bought another set to fit my transit van. Time will tell how they hold up against the traditional metal frame with a rubber insert. Here in Texas the test is the fact that it’s so dry and with a lot of sun the previous wipers become inflexible or brittle and don’t do a very good job. Time will tell.
I didn't realize how badly I needed new wiper blades until I had to use them one foggy morning and saw the rubber tear away mid-sweep. I always hate buying new blades because of how seldom I use them and the cost, so I decided to go the cheap route this time around. The description on these says they use silicone, so if that's true, then these are a great deal. They installed very easily and work great so far.
200,000 miles of use and 6 full years of rough seasons, heat, rain, and my original wiper blades finally bit the dust on the last snow of the year. Barley made it back home but the snapped wiper blade while in highway motion and heavy rain/snow ended up scraping the windshield after the snap. These came at not only a good price but next day delivery and installed incredibly easy. They use a Boch & Lomb design which is easy but strong and after a few months now, they still wipe just fine and without issue considering one of the heaviest tornado rain warnings I just drove through with nonstop rain for 6 hours. Will buy a second pair to keep in the truck if another situation occurs again while on the road.
